Potential for spoilers ahead
This was the best episode the Three have done in a very, very long time. It felt, and I mean this in the best way possible, like Top Gear. And when Top Gear
was really good too. Sure, it might have been a
little
(and by little
I mean very) like the Bolivia special, but it was a very good rehash and callback to prime Top Gear.
It seems really like (while also factoring in the pretty damn good previous episode) that they’re finally getting comfortable with the slight change in format and change in networks. Season one was rocky at best and at points downright bad, season two was solid but still felt
off,
hopefully this season is a return to form. Also it’s good to see the “
cheap car challenge” formula
officially, properly, back.
